11th Annual Putt-Putt Camp

June 5-9, 2017

Our 11th annual Putt-Putt camp was a huge success. Held the week of June 5th, the camp hosted 57 children with the sponsorship of the Lake Charles Optimist Club and the Lake Area Putters Association.

The purpose of the camp is to raise awareness of competitive Putt-Putt. The camp covered putter control, score keeping, sportsmanship and competitive play. The children were involved in daily instruction and tournaments to enhance their skills to allow us to flight them according to skill level. Friday, we held a 36 hole tournament awarding trophies to the top 4 players in each flight.
